That sound? Is me, hitting my head against the wall. Tonight in my film and literature class, one of my students announced that he didn't like Citizen Kane because "it's too old." He had no further explanation.
In happier news, the beer is merrily burpling along. I'm now down to only two XO patterns to go on Crofter's. I managed not to buy an sock yarn from Elann today. Best of all, tomorrow is Friday, and I don't have to do a heck of a lot in my classes. Yay, Friday.

I did read your twister story, and was impressed and amused.
So after being speechless for a bit, did you come up with a reply? Are college kids usually this inarticulate? I suppose that's your job in a nutshell, teaching students to clarify their reasoning. Moments like this must make you wonder if it is possible.

Too old???? C. Kane is one of the best movies ever. Even if you're not into the story the cinematography (sp????), the camera angles, all of it is just to wonderful not to love.
Wait til that kid gets a gray hair... then lets all gang up on him!
